Emmanuel Okafor is a results-driven Procurement and Software Operations Leader with over a decade of experience in the power distribution sector, delivering operational efficiency, cost optimization, and technology-enabled supply chain performance. He combines strong technical expertise with strategic leadership to strengthen procurement systems, enhance governance, and support critical utility operations.

Prior to transitioning into the power industry, Emmanuel worked with Global Scan Systems Limited, a destination inspection firm within Marine and Port Operations. As a Systems Operator and Data Analyst, he managed end-to-end cargo scanning operations, ensured data integrity, and supported trade compliance through operational analytics and process controls.

At Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) Plc, he advanced through key roles including Procurement and Store Officer and Procurement Supervisor. In these capacities, he led end-to-end procurement processes that delivered measurable cost savings, strengthened internal controls, improved vendor performance, and enhanced material availability across utility operations.

Emmanuel currently serves as Head, Supply Chain Management at First Power Electricity Distribution Limited (FPEDL), where he leads supply chain strategy, procurement governance, vendor management, and operational support functions. He is responsible for aligning procurement frameworks with organizational goals, optimizing supply chain performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a dynamic utility environment.

He holds a degree in Management Science, a Diploma in Software Project Management, and professional certifications in Prompt Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Business Intelligence. Emmanuel is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN), reflecting his commitment to global best practices, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
