Okwudili F. Udechukwu is an accomplished Electrical and Electronics Engineer with over 22 years of extensive experience in the power industry, spanning protection, control and metering (PC&M), operations and maintenance, transformer management, and commercial energy operations.

He holds a B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), obtained in 2001. Over the course of his career, he has built strong technical expertise in substation protection systems, relay coordination, and testing, having completed advanced training in P1 & P2 Protection Systems, Protection Relays, and Omicron Primary and Secondary Injection Testing. He has also undertaken professional development in Performance Management and Project Management, strengthening his leadership and operational delivery capabilities.

His technical experience includes:

• Protection, Control & Metering (PC&M)
• Operations and Maintenance of power infrastructure
• Power transformer repairs (up to 15MVA capacity)
• Energy audits and statistical metering
• High Voltage Maximum Demand (HV MD) metering
• Energy accounting and commercial loss management

As Head, Technical at First Power, Okwudili provides strategic and operational leadership across technical functions, ensuring system reliability, regulatory compliance, and optimal network performance. His broad industry exposure positions him to effectively align technical operations with commercial and organizational objectives.
